- Volume conversions. Type a number in any field (teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, milliliters, etc.) and all other units update instantly. This works in every direction, cups to ml, tablespoons to fluid ounces, gallons to liters.
- Grams to cups. Scroll to the Grams to Cups section. Select your ingredient from the dropdown (flour, sugar, butter, rice, oats, honey, milk, or cocoa), enter the gram amount, and see the equivalent in cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, and milliliters.
- Why ingredient matters for grams. Grams measure weight, while cups measure volume. The same 1-cup measure holds 125 g of flour but 200 g of sugar because sugar is denser. Always use the correct ingredient from the dropdown for accurate results.
- Quick kitchen tip. 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon. 16 tablespoons = 1 cup. These exact relationships mean you can scale recipes without a separate calculator.
Example: a recipe calls for 250 g of all-purpose flour. Select "All-purpose flour" and type 250 in the Grams field to see: 2 cups, 32 tablespoons, 96 teaspoons, 473 mL.
